Super location
Lovely room, huge bed and on ground floor. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice.

Decent rooms, good location, bad parking situation
The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel is in a great location right in the heart of Kilkenny. We had booked 2 rooms, one twin room and one double, and when we realized we got 2 double rooms instead, they were very accommodating and easily switched one of our rooms to a twin room. Breakfast was buffet style, very good.
The beds weren’t particularly comfortable, the Wi-Fi was inconsistent, and the parking was inconvenient. They have parking on site, but it’s a “first come, first served” situation, so when we got there, there were no spots. They were hosting a wedding, and all the wedding guests had parked on site, so we had to go to the front desk to ask where to park, and they sent us to a lot on a different street that connected to their back lot. So, it was a bit of a hike to get our luggage to the rooms. When it was time to check out, they had to send someone to open the back gate to let the car through the back lot. The rooms were stuffy, so we kept the windows open, which resulted in hearing several loud guests late at night through the window.

Breakfast staff were fabulous great value hotel
Room with a view of the castle which was very nice. Room was clean warm and bed was super comfy. Breakfast was amazing and staff attending to us were polite friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel. Such value for money for an over night stay.
The balcony door would get jammed and there was a little noise from the riverside but I wouldn’t worry to much I’m a sound sleeper.
